Welcome to Knitwit Design, where my long-standing passion for knitting has found its way back into my life! In the early 80, I embarked on my journey into embroidery and quickly established my knitting business, producing hundreds of stylish sweaters and cardigans that captured the hearts of many. Throughout the mid-80s, I pursued my love for music and graduated as an opera singer in 1992, financing my education through knitting endeavors. After performing the role of Carlotta Giudicelli in the Dutch production of Phantom of the Opera approximately 600 times and later debuting as Aida in Germany, I spent 20 remarkable taking on significant opera roles on international stages. Although my knitting business took a backseat during this time, I continued knit for friends. Now, as an "old diva" with more time my hands, I am thrilled to rekindle my love for knitting! I take great joy in working with exquisite materials such as soft mohair, silk, and alp, as well as honest cotton and pure wool. Each piece I create reflects my passion design and fashion, and I am excited to share that my ideas continue to remain fresh fashionable.
